Wayne Dyer ROCKS!

“That music that you hear inside of you urging you to take risks and follow your dreams is your intuitive connection to the purpose in your heart since birth. Be enthusiastic about all that you do. Have that passion with the awareness that the word enthusiasm literally means ‘the God (enthos) within (iasm).’ Don’t die with your music still in you.”

I love Wayne Dyer for many reasons, but today I love him for reminding me that even though it seems completely absurd to give up the comforts of a stable job or a solid, yet passionless relationship, it is necessary.  My grandfather used to say, “the only thing we ever really HAVE to do is die, everything else is a choice.”  With choices come consequences and with consequences we start to develop fear.  Fear is the opposite of love.

If you live in fear of not having enough, you are living in the opposite of what you love and are passionate about.  Give up the idea that you don’t have enough.  What if what you have right now was enough?  What if what you had right now was all there is?  And what if you took responsibility for the choices that you make to go to the job you hate and be with a person that you cannot stand?

Could you begin to see a new path laid out for you?  Could you reconnect with the enthusiasm for life that you once felt as a youth?  Granted, there are consequences to giving up your steady way of life, but they are your choices to make.  You have to weigh if it the risk is worth the reward.

Dare to dance!

I have been crying the I don't knows all day. Home from work and between jobs, I cried, who to call. I finally realized the person I want to talk to may not have it in them to be here for me. No one can live my dream for me.I have enough. I do enough. There is enough. I am…Thank you for this post. It is just what I need, for today.
