“In three words, I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: IT GOES ON.”
Sometimes, in the midst of grieving a loss, or the onset of depression of some kind, our lives seem to stop. In a sense, we stop noticing life happening around us because we are waiting to re-engage with the world “when we are happier”, or “when I have this”, or “when I live/work/etc. here”. Life, however, does NOT stop. It does go on, whether we like it or not. When you stop noticing life, you stop being an active participant, and sometimes you miss out on some really great stuff. Life goes on, the cycle of creation continues, new things happen, nothing is permanent. If you don’t like this moment, don’t worry, another one is coming, just don’t miss it…..
